 School News

Once again it is our sad duty to record the death of an FP. This time is is Philip Barrett, known to many as Fuzzy, who died in Uphall. We send condolences to his brother, Jim, another FP, and other members of his family.

The death is announced of Sheriff Bill Christie, the father of Rory, Fergus and Aidan. Bill Christie was a well known lawyer in the Edinburgh area for many years, before becoming a Sheriff in Kirkcaldy. He was a great supporter of Scotus through his time on the Parents Association, where he rose to being its Chairman. Perhaps his greatest claim to fame, and one that many FPs would aspire to, was being Secretary of Hibernian Football Club for many years.

Change of e-mail :- Chris Bain; John Cregan;

Witold Miedzybrodzki has advised that his current project in Sullam Voe is nearing its end, so those of you who did not take the time to visit him have missed the boat.

During the Festival a number of acts, or exhibitors appearing had a connection with Scotus :- Philip Contini continued to perform at Vin Caffe, and Valvona & Crolla. Mike Maran, looking remarkably healthy, was performing with Philip at Valvona & Crolla. Ricky Demarco had an exhibition throughout the Festival. This continues at Craigcrook Castle. All are welcome, and Ricky would be delighted to see you. Were any more FPs performing at the Festival this year?

If anyone happens to be in the Algarve in September and October please fell free to visit Aidan Bremner's exibition at the Algarve Artists Network- algarveartistsnetwork
