Congratulations to Ricky Demarco on being awarded with the European Citizen’s Prize for 2013.

Congratulations, also, to Raymond Raszkowski Ross on his award of the Knight’s Cross of the Order of Merit, from the Polish President. It was presented to him by Consul General Tomasz Trafas at Edinburgh City Chambers. He has recently written a play, Wojtek the Bear, telling the tale of the Polish Army mascot during the 2nd world war, which eventually lived in Edinburgh Zoo, and was visited daily by many of the early Scotus pupils.

The lunch for the 60th anniversary of the foundation of the school took place on 13th September and 25 pupils and 3 former teachers attended, and had a great day. A number of old friendships were rekindled, some after more than 40 years.

Bro Anthony has sent a memory card for Bro Duignan, and this has been placed in the gallery of the website.

Ricky Demarco is wishing to write a book about Scotus, similar to the one about Holy Cross. He has asked FPs to fill in the Questionaire which is on the website and send your contributions directly to him. Click to download the form.
