 School News

Sadly, we have to report two more FPs who have passed away, both early students at the school: - John McQueenie(1954-60), and John “Jasper” Porter (1957-60). McQueenie had a nickname of “Squeek” at school, and had lived and worked in Tenerife for many years. Porter had lived and worked in Edinburgh all his adult life. We offer condolences to the families.

Change of e-mail address:- Bill Parry;

We have been advised that, if Bro. Duignan had lived for another fortnight, he would have been 91.

Mike Maran has been in touch about his latest show. Please go to the link for further details.

Mike Maran here - just to let you know that 'Platero: Travels with a Donkey' is touring Scotland throughout May and June and is at The Brunton, Musselburgh on Thursday, May 30th. Full tour dates on our website www.mikemaran.com
It is an exquisitely beautiful evocation of a small Andalusian town called Moguer (near Seville) at the beginning of the last century. Adapted from the book by Jimenez, it is performed by Mike Maran with puppetry by Nino Namitcheishvili and classical guitar by Craig Ogden. It is a little gem and I want to recommend it to you. Hasta la vista! Mike

The anniversary meal has been booked. So far, 25 have notified that they will be in attendance. There is room for more.
