 School News

We recently heard of the death of Peter Lennon’s mother, who was a great supporter of this newsletter. We send our condolences.

We have been informed that Kenneth Charles has been elected as the Chair of the Swaziland Society, which apparently started in G.\b. in 1991 to strengthen ties between the two countries. Ken has recently returned from Swaziland where he was seconded by the British Government between 1980 and 1991. He has also been asked to become the attaché to the Swaziland Olympic team, but was upstaged by a millionaire property developer. Maybe he might be a source for Olympic tickets. Form an orderly queue behind your editor.

As you know, the Scottish Cup Final between Hibs and Hearts takes place this weekend. The Edinburgh Evening News has made a video for the occasion, and it is worth a look. The link is Go East

We thank those who contacted us about replacement e-mails, but still require contact details for:- Tony Rostant; Reno DiRollo; Peter Perrins; James Walshe; Iain Brown; Joseph Kelly; Neil Cameron; Michael Carmody; Edmund McPheely; Brian Potter; Andrew Wong; Bennet Crolla;

Our well known artist, former pupil and former teacher, Aidan Bremner has given us permission to show each month for the next few months a series of rugby cartoons which are being reproduced in Cobham rugby club magazine in aid of charity. We acknowledge Aidan’s fine gesture and hope you all enjoy them. These will be sent as an attachment to the Editorial.
