Scotian News November 2005 Congratulations to the following Former Pupils who have reached milestone birthdays this month:- 60 Francis Verolini; Robert Croan; 50 Stephen White; Joseph Francis; Ross Coates; 40 Sean Conlon; FP News The following announcement will come as a shock to older members of the school :- The death has been announced in the Scotsman of 29 th November of the death of John James Lynch, known to all as Benny. His funeral will take place at St. Patrick’s Church, Cowgate Edinburgh on December 1 st at 10.00am Once more, news of loved ones of FPs have been received. Lenny Oliver’s mother has recently died . Philip Contini’s uncle, Victor Crolla , the man acknowledged to have made Valvona & Crolla the fine delicatessens it is today in Elm Row, died last Thursday, aged 90, after a long and successful life in Edinburgh business. The obituary in the Scotsman made interesting reading. Brother Duignan left our reunion last month to fly to Dublin to see his sister. Unfortunately, we have heard that she has since died. Our condolences are passed on to them, and prayers are asked for them. Paul Pia has ceased his column The Diary in the Scotsman newspaper.
