 School News

It is with huge regret and sadness that we announce the passing of Bro.Brendan Macartan Duignan on Thursday, May 2nd at Ashlawn Nursing Home, Nenagh, Tipperary. His death was caused by Cancer of the Liver. His funeral will take place at St Mary.s of the Rosary parish church, Nenagh, Tipperary on Saturday 4th May at 1.45pm for 2.00pm.

We are sure you will adhere to the Community of Brothers request for prayers to be offered at this sad time.

Once again we have to advise of the death of another F.P. John Lehany(1956-61), passed away during the month of April. We were informed by his son, Peter, who is Building Services Engineer with the University of Edinburgh.

We have been advised by her son, James Walshe, that his mother died recently at the age of 104, so both of our centurian parents of FPs have passed away in the last few months. Who now has the oldest parent living?

Last month we announced the birthday of Robert Rennie. Sadly he died a number of years ago, and we apologise for any offence caused.

The time and date for the commemorative lunch have now been fixed.
