FP News Graham Haughey has e-mailed from Australia. He called his business venture, set up 10 years ago, Scotus Investments Pty Ltd . He says it has done well. The name lives on. Mike Casey has found positive proof of a supply of instruments of torture to the Christian Brothers—a quote for straps from John J. Dick of Lochgelly (the no. 1 company for supplying these pain inducing pieces of leather). He suggests that, if a “war crimes” trial was ever called, this would be exhibit 1. Fr. Henry McLaughlin is returning from Mexico to assist with parish work at St. Ninian’s, Restalrig, for 6 months, with the other 6 months being spent in Mexico. 42 out of the original 81 pupils who started at Scotus in September 1953 have now been traced; the latest being John & Donald Shaw , Willie Wattie and Frank Strathie . Can anyone supply details of the others— Alan Brown; Peter Nicol; John Curran; Edward Stone? I obtained a wrong e-mail address for Liam Donnelly . Can anyone help ? There is always a stream of FPs visiting Edinburgh. A number of our FPs have businesses offering accommodation, and, to help the visitors, the following offer facilities of varying degrees:- Adam Dzierzak : Peter Flynn : Tony Kelly : they are all listed on the e-mail list.
