Dr. Thomas Conlon, a Senior Lecturer at Moray House, Edinburgh University, died on the 23rd December. We offer our sincere condolences to his family, and, in particular, to his brothers, Andrew & Roger, both FPs. We are continually bringing bad news on this sheet, so it is our pleasure to advise of Ivon Bartholomew’s wedding last year, and the birth of his baby daughter in November this year. Congratulations to all concerned, and we hope the child’s 4 uncles, who were FPs, spoil her rotten. Duignan was admitted to a nursing home in Ireland with a foot injury, but we now have since been advised that he has been allowed to return to Birkenhead. The foot was obviously strengthened during his years at Scotus, swinging the extended limb at anyone who passed too close. |
