 School News

We recently heard that Andrew Lindsay’s mother died. Condolences are sent to the family.

New e-mail contacts:-  Ronnie Rowley—in Spain;  Jimmy Orr  --in Bonnyrigg ; Tony Ward—in Surrey; Stephen Koral—in Arbroath; Jim McDowall –in Burntisland; Mike Dougall;

e-mail changes:- Paul Doherty; James Mackenzie (Buist); Eddie Balls( Kowalski ) MacDonald; Clive Davis;

Shane Campbell and Ian Somerville no longer have e-mail addresses, but we do have contact details.

Does anyone have a school photograph with Peter Flanagan in it? He does not possess one, and requires proof that he was at Scotus, as his memory is not what it was.

The records of The Land of Green Ginger are now on DVD. Anyone interested?

The film of the advert taken at the school for Penguin biscuits is now in our possession, and will shortly be placed on DVD.

We were advised that David Batty, the Science teacher, had taped the Mikado, during its production run in 1964. This has proved to be the case, and we await David finding the recording in one of his boxes in the attic. We shall then try to copy it onto CD to give others the chance to hear the show.

Another rumour we heard was that the Edinburgh String Quartet had taped the Pirates of Penzance during its production. We are following this up and will confirm later.

The 2007 Reunion has now been confirmed. It will take place in The Corn Exchange( same venue as last year) on Friday 28 September 2007 at 7.30pm. It would help arrangements if FPs would advise attendance as soon as possible. A list of attendees will be circulated before the event. We require help to organise class groups. Could representatives of class groups volunteer to contact their peers to make certain some of their classmates attend?
