We regret the omission of one of the Bartholomew brothers last month, so we now apologise and add Philip’s name to the list mourning his mother’s death.

We understand that John Cregan has had health problems recently, but is now starting to make a recovery.

Aidan Bremner has been selected to be on of the exhibiting artists at Faro Airport, Portugal, to celebrate 50 years of the airport’s existence.

Philip Bartolomew has written advising that his sandwich shop, Urban Spoon, has been voted best sandwich shop in Edinburgh. He was recently visited by an old Scotian, and would like to see more visiting him at the shop, 54 Clerk Street. He is so keen that he is offering a 50% discount for first time F P visitors. He serves healthy fast food.
